Privacy Policy

Information you provide

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely). When you use the app's tools, you may enter vehicle details (make, model, year, mileage), fuel records (kilometres, litres, cost), service logs, trip records, and notes. This data is linked to your account and is used to provide the features you request.

If you contact us through our contact form, we receive the name, email, and message you provide so we can respond to your inquiry.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This information is used to operate and improve the website.

AI features and submitted information

When you use the AI Assistant or AI Insights features, the questions and data you submit are sent to our AI service providers to generate responses. Do not submit sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers) to these features. AI-generated responses are not stored permanently by AutoCareX beyond what is needed to display your conversation history within the app.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage to remember your preferences (such as your selected currency) and to keep you logged in. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites for advertising purposes beyond what is described below.

Analytics

We may use analytics tools to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are most visited and how long visitors stay. This data is aggregated and is not combined with personally identifiable information in a way that identifies you personally.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this website. Google uses cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

For more information about how Google uses data, visit https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

• To provide and operate the features you request (fuel tracking, service logs, AI assistant).
• To send you service-related notifications and respond to your inquiries.
• To improve our website, tools, and content.
• To operate and serve advertising where applicable.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers — such as our hosting platform, AI service providers, and Google (for advertising) — strictly to operate our website and provide the services you request. These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. Your vehicle and fuel records are linked to your account and are not visible to other users. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can also delete your account and associated data through the app.

Children's privacy

AutoCareX is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
